Job Description
Reckitt is seeking a proactive Executive – QA to join its dynamic team in Hosur. In this role, you will review, monitor, and improve quality performance across the Hosur manufacturing site. You will be responsible for ensuring all quality management systems are implemented effectively, reviewing testing processes, ensuring proper release of materials, conducting audits, and promoting a strong quality culture. You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement and ensuring that all products meet the highest standards before reaching consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and maintain all quality management systems at the Hosur site.
- Monitor and improve site-wide quality performance.
- Promote quality awareness and mindset through cross-functional training.
- Implement, audit, and develop quality systems in line with global policies.
- Ensure process controls are in place wherever required.
- Review and inspect raw materials, packaging, and finished goods according to specifications.
- Oversee the release process of materials and finished goods, adhering to SOPs and global requirements.
- Verify that all RM and PM are sourced from approved suppliers and meet the specified requirements.
- Ensure internal/external labs follow documented testing procedures.
- Conduct investigations into quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and ensure adherence to training calendars.
- Conduct self-inspection quality audits and drive continuous improvement.
- Follow up on audit points to ensure timely closure.
- Review supplier performance regularly.
- Support key initiatives and management review meetings at the site.
- Accept and execute other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or another relevant science.
- Familiarity with R&D processes and working within a GMP environment.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Independent, self-starter with resilience in fast-paced environments.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.
- Commercially aware, able to propose improvements and challenge the status quo.
