Education: MSc in General or Organic Chemistry
Experience: Up to 3 years in synthetic/medicinal chemistry or related laboratory research

Core Purpose of the Role:
Responsible for conducting synthetic reactions and delivering final compounds within defined timelines, while independently solving chemistry problems. Ensure accurate documentation of experimental observations in compliance with Syngene’s ELN policies.
Role Accountabilities:
- Perform synthetic reactions, workups, and compound purification using chromatography, crystallization, TLC, etc.
- Submit samples for analysis, record results, and update supervisors; ensure proper sample packaging for shipment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in ELN with strict confidentiality.
- Achieve productivity targets without compromising safety and quality.
- Apply strong analytical interpretation and purification skills.
- Follow EHS protocols, SDS guidelines, and emergency response procedures; ensure proper segregation of waste.
- Complete all mandatory trainings and uphold Syngene’s safety, quality, and confidentiality standards.
