- Qualifications: M.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: 3–8 years in pharmaceutical process engineering with a focus on injectables.
Technical Expertise:
- Formulation development of inhalation/injectable dosage forms.
- Generic injectables development.
- Process optimization, scale-up, and technology transfer.
- Knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and regulatory compliance.
Behavioral Skills: Strong communication, analytical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and scale-up of inhalation and injectable dosage forms.
- Apply QbD principles for formulation and process robustness.
- Design experiments to validate material characteristics for stability and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and Plant Execution teams to ensure seamless technology transfer.
- Prepare technical documents, including BPR, SOPs, safety reports, and validation documents.
- Oversee facility preparedness, troubleshoot process-related issues, and monitor vendor-site experiments.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer – Scientist in Inhalation/Injectables to join our Integrated Product Development Organisation. This role involves formulation process design, Quality by Design (QbD) implementation, process optimization, scale-up, manufacturing readiness, technology transfer, and plant execution for robust and compliant pharmaceutical production.
