Job Description
Applications are invited for one (01) position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the SERB-sponsored project entitled “On-the-Fly Chemical Dynamics Simulations in Gas and Condensed Phase Molecular Systems Using Machine Learning Approach”. The project will be carried out under the guidance of Dr. Amit Kumar Paul, Department of Chemical Sciences, Bose Institute.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in chemical sciences as per the project requirements.
- Perform simulations using machine learning approaches for gas and condensed phase molecular systems.
- Assist in project documentation and reporting.
- Participate actively in departmental seminars and discussions.
Qualifications
- Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Chemistry or BTech. In Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 7 (on a 10-point scale).
- Desirable Qualification: Prior research experience in chemical sciences.
- Age Limit: Below 30 years (relaxable as per the Govt. of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates).
Emoluments
- With NET (without fellowship) / GATE: Rs. 31,000/- per month (Consolidated).
- Without NET (without fellowship) / GATE: Rs. 25,000/- per month (Consolidated).
