Job Description
The Officer – EHS will be responsible for ensuring safety measures across the unit, conducting plant inspections, and establishing new safe practices. The role focuses on personal injury prevention, emergency preparedness, and statutory compliance, while promoting a strong safety culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prevent workplace incidents to safeguard employees and stakeholders.
- Assess and enhance emergency preparedness across the unit to minimize risks to people and property.
- Execute planned safety activities, promotional initiatives, and statutory compliance measures.
- Conduct plant safety inspections and remove unsafe conditions.
- Advise departments on effective safety planning and organizational measures.

Qualifications
- Science graduate in Chemistry OR Diploma/Degree with a Diploma in Advanced Industrial Safety.
- Minimum 2 years of safety experience in pharmaceutical or chemical industries.
