Requirements
- MSc in Analytical/Physical Chemistry (focus on Electrochemistry/Surface Science) or MTech in Chemical/Electrochemical Engineering
- Experience with electrochemical methods or analytics; knowledge of the AUTOLAB system (preferred)
- Proven project experience in electrochemistry (corrosion, batteries, catalysis, or Galvano techniques)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams
- Expertise in scientific data visualization, documentation, or statistical analysis
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and presenting)
Experience
- 0–2 years’ experience in electrochemistry-related work
- Skills in Excel, JUMP, Origin, or ELN documentation
- Strong academic background
About the Role:
As an Associate Chemist in Electrochemistry, you will be part of the Technology Enablement Team at MKS Instruments. In this role, you will support diverse R&D activities in the field of electrochemistry, ranging from electrolyte characterization and corrosion investigations to electrode and process analysis. You will have access to advanced electrochemical equipment and methods, working closely with R&D teams and the analytical & material science department.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting electrochemical experiments, analyzing data, and aligning findings with project goals
- Ensuring reliable results through equipment maintenance and calibration
- Collaborating with R&D stakeholders to support innovation
- Following best laboratory practices and HSE policies
