The CSIR–Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysuru, has announced an opening for the position of Research Associate – I (RA-I) under the project Analytical Quality Control & Quality Assurance in Rice Fortification (GAP 640). This is a temporary, project-based opportunity for qualified candidates with expertise in biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry, agricultural sciences, or life sciences to contribute to high-impact research in food analysis and fortification.

Educational Qualification
Applicants must hold a PhD in Biochemistry
or Chemistry from a recognized institution.Desirable Experience

Research experience in reputed R&D institutes.

Skills in food analysis using modern analytical instruments, method validation, and food product development.

Knowledge of MS Office tools for data handling.
Eligibility and Terms

Age Limit: Not more than 35 years as of 29.08.2025 (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Women as per rules).

Candidates awaiting results are not eligible. Only those with declared results can apply.

The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project. No right to permanent employment in CSIR/CFTRI.
