Education: M.Pharm or M.Sc. in a related discipline

Experience: 3–7 years of relevant experience

Core Purpose of the Role

The Junior Analytical Development Scientist will support formulation development through:

• Routine analysis of samples
• Analytical method development
• Instrument calibration and maintenance
• Documentation and report preparation
• Other lab-related responsibilities

Role Accountabilities

• Strong theoretical background in analytical sciences.
• Expertise in calibration, method development, and troubleshooting of instruments such as Zetasizer, Mastersizer, Osmometer, KF auto titrator, dissolution apparatus (I, II & IV), UV spectrometer, IR, HPLC/UPLC, GC, and liquid particulate counters.
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines for method and product development.
• Experience with injectable formulation tests, including assay, degradation products, dissolution, content uniformity, cleaning methods, liposome/microsphere degradation products, and API assays.
• Knowledge of parenteral dosage form specifications and in-process requirements.
• Added advantage for experience with LC-MS and GC-MS.
• Proficiency in GxP-compliant documentation, ELN entries, method reports, SOPs, and calibration documentation.
• Ability to review peer or junior-generated documents and search scientific literature online.
