Job Description
Position Summary: The Researcher will be responsible for carrying out routine Inorganic Characterization of SG RM and Products using ICP, XRF, CHNS, and IC techniques.
Key Activities
- Safety: Maintain a safe working environment in R&D/QC labs.
- Instrument Management: Ensure laboratory instruments are well-maintained and coordinate necessary repairs.
- Data Management: Follow Saint-Gobain norms in data management and maintain accurate records.
- Teamwork: Work effectively in cross-functional teams and with other Research Engineers.
- Planning and Execution: Meticulously prioritize, plan, and execute tasks.
- Communication: Good oral and written communication skills to write technical reports.
- Waste Management: Proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste samples.
- Laboratory Management: Assume responsibility for laboratory cleanliness and equipment maintenance.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety, waste management, and 5S obligations.
Requirements
- Education: MSc Chemistry
- Experience: 0-5 years in Inorganic Chemistry in an R&D lab
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Additional: Knowledge of basic statistics, ability to travel, and manage complexity
