Job Description:
CSIR-IMTECH is hiring for three research positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Associate-I (PAT-I) under various DBT, DST, and CSIR-sponsored projects. Each position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact research initiatives related to drug resistance, cancer care, and small-molecule inhibitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research as per project objectives under the supervision of the project investigators
- Assist in the design, synthesis, and testing of molecular compounds or inhibitors
- Maintain lab documentation, analyze data, and report progress
- Collaborate with internal research teams and maintain compliance with research protocols
- Present findings in internal reviews and contribute to publications, if applicable

Qualifications:
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s / Integrated Master’s in Natural / Agricultural / Pharmaceutical Sciences / MVSc / Animal Sciences
OR - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine from a recognized university
Desirable Qualification:

Experience in organic synthesis and/or medicinal chemistry research
Upper Age Limit: 35 years (Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women and 3 years for OBC candidates)
Monthly Emoluments:
- ₹31,000/- + HRA for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICMR-NET, GATE, or equivalent national-level exams
- ₹25,000/- + HRA for other eligible candidates
