Job Purpose
Operate and maintain packing machines to achieve quality product output per shift with maximum efficiency, while maintaining cGMP and safety compliance.
Key Accountabilities for Fresher Junior Operator & Packing
1. Packing Machine Setup
-
Prepare machines for packing operations as per production plan.

Perform calibration, cleaning, and setup as per SOPs.

Arrange change parts and stereo for batch packing as Fresher.
2. Packing Operations & Quality Control
-
Operate packing machines with minimum resource wastage.
-
Set machines during product changeovers.
-
Perform in-process checks, labeling, and rejection handling.
-
Reduce micro stoppages and ensure smooth operations as Fresher.
-
Maintain audit readiness and perform as per cGMP.
3. Documentation & Compliance
-
Maintain accurate machine logs and SOP entries.
-
Verify documentation for data integrity.

Conduct and attend cGMP and technical training sessions.
-
Provide support to operators for process adherence as Fresher .
4. Safety Compliance
-
Handle packing machines safely and ensure PPE usage.

Perform regular interlock checks and report near-misses.

Train team members on safe operations.
5. Skill Building & Team Training
-
Train fellow operators on machine settings and troubleshooting.

Stay updated on new machine operations.
-
Participate in process improvement initiatives as Fresher.
6. Operational Challenges

Address resource shortages by redistributing workload.

Maintain compliance during downtimes through coordination.
-
Improve yield by reducing rejections and refining processes.

Contractors: For machine repair support as Fresher.
Performance Metrics

Handle 60+ BPRs and batches annually.
-
Achieve >90% OTIF and zero reportable incidents.

Maintain 100% documentation accuracy and SOP compliance.
Key Decisions

Recommend facility/equipment upgrades to the Section Head.

Raise CAPAs and propose process deviations when necessary as Fresher.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:

Diploma in Engineering or Pharmacy
Experience:

0–2 years in packing operations as Fresher
-
Knowledge of QMS, equipment qualification, and documentation preferred
