Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Member in Peptide Production within the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) division. This role supports the scale-up and execution of peptide synthesis batches, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance in production operations at CPP.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure the availability of raw materials and charge batches with appropriate safety precautions.
- Maintain utilities such as vacuum systems and cooling operations.
- Minimize plant accidents by adhering to safety principles and monitoring contract staff.
- Support preventive maintenance and issue work orders for equipment servicing.
- Clean equipment post-usage as per Batch Packaging Record (BPR) requirements.
- Assist engineering teams in equipment qualification and batch planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all operations as per regulatory requirements.
- Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) with no deviations.
Qualifications
- Education:
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. / Diploma in Chemical Engineering
- Experience:
- 1–6 years in the pharmaceutical industry
Skills & Attributes
- Technical Skills:
- Experience in peptide product development
- Knowledge of peptide synthesis and process equipment
- Familiarity with unit operations and chemical process engineering
- Awareness of Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) guidelines
- Experience with SAP systems
- Behavioral Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- An analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Team collaboration with cross-functional departments
