Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work in the laboratory & pilot plant to carry out “on the bench” experiments & demonstrate the technical performance of product prototypes.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new products or enhance the performance of existing hard surface cleaning formulations for Cif across different formats.
- Lead specific aspects of projects and interact with cross-functional team members (SEAC, Regulatory, Patents, Processing, Regional R&D, Brand, S&T teams).
- Work with the team to build capability in identified areas.
- Utilize appropriate literature, patent, competition, and supplier searches related to projects.
- Leverage digital tools to minimize experiments, maximize output, and speed up program delivery.
Skills and Experience:
- Education: Graduate degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry / Material Science with First class.
- Background/Experience: Strong fundamentals in chemical engineering and/or Chemistry, proficient with digital tools and data analysis.
- Technical skills: Good understanding of surfactant and interfacial science, formulation design & development.
- Soft skills: Teamwork, multi-tasking, good communication, presentation and writing skills, Creative, Should have the ability to analyze data and present data to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Digital: Should be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and should be apt to learn new Unilever digital tools (PLM, PHAROS, ELN, LIMS).
