Job Characteristics:
Demonstrates use and application of standard chemistry, project management, and other relevant principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to assignments where precedents may exist. Provides solutions to a variety of problems which require collecting and analyzing data from diverse sources to solve problems. Demonstrates initiative and open-mindedness to identify and try new and different approaches. Contributes to the research and development of differentiated technology, products, processes, and systems.
Education/Work Experience:
Degree or advanced degree in chemistry or related discipline. Degree and 2 to 4 years or advanced degree and 1 to 3 years related experience.
Independence Level/Reports to:
Works under limited supervision on assigned tasks or portions of projects to determine and develop an approach to meet desired objectives. May lead projects/experiments/research with limited scope and complexity. Normally reports to project/program leader or more senior technical leader.
