Indian nationals are invited for a Walk-in-Interview on 27th March 2024 at about 10:30 AM for Postdoctoral Fellow (PDF) under the project RIN4002-SCS-Basic Research in Chemical Sciences in the School of Chemical Sciences, NISER, Bhubaneswar funded by DAE, Govt. of India.
Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemistry
Research Area: Computational / Materials / Organic Chemistry.
Fellowship: As per existing rules of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Govt. of India. The positions are purely temporary. The appointment is made for a period up to June 30th 2024 initially, or the completion of the project whichever is earlier depending on the availability of the fund in the manpower budget head. HRA will be paid if accommodation is not available on the campus and Contingency grant will be spent as per rules.
RA-I: Candidates successfully defended their thesis and having less than one-year experience after award of PhD degree, Monthly fellowship: ₹47,000/-.
RA-II: Candidates
with one or less than two years of experience after award of PhD degree; Monthly fellowship: ₹49,000/-.RA-III: Candidates with 2-3 years of experience after award of PhD degree; Monthly fellowship: ₹54,000/-.
Age relaxation available as per existing rules
The above positions are purely temporary for a period mention above and strictly co-terminus with the project. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim, implicit, or explicit for consideration/absorption against any NISER post.
