Projects Title: DBT funded project “Evaluation of genetic diversity of underutilized species of Western Himalayan Bioresources based on molecular and genomic characterization”
Position: Project Associate-II: Bioinformatics (01 position)
Remuneration: Rs. 35,000/- per month + @16% HRA
Eligibility & Selection: Candidates having M.Sc. / M. Tech / M. Pharm. with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (relaxation will be given as per GOI guideline) with 2 years of experience in research work are eligible to apply.
Preference will be given to national-level entrance test (NET/GATE/GPAT) qualified candidates. For non-NET/GATE
candidates, the fellowship would be applicable as per DST guidelines. For bioinformatician, the knowledge of programming language, R-Bioconductor, NGS data analysis along with research experience will be preferred.
Age Limit:
The candidate should be below 35 years in age as
on 31st August 2023. An age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India rules.Job Specification: The person should be responsible for analyzing next-generation sequencing data. Selection will be carried out through application screening, followed by an interview process.
