Advertisement for engagement of ‘Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) and Project Technical Support-III’ under ‘ICMR’ funded project at Institute of Nano Science and Technology. Highly motivated and bright candidates are invited for a walk-in interview for engagement of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) and Project Technical Support-III in the research project funded by ‘ICMR.

Position Details:

  • Title of the Research Project:
    Non-Invasive Diagnostic Sweat-Sensing Patch for Affordable Monitoring in Septicemia
  • Principal Investigator: Dr. Rehan Khan

    • Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)
    • Project Technical Support-III
  • Number of Positions Available: 03
    • 01 position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)
    • 02 positions of Project Technical Support-III

Essential Qualification:

For Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical):

  • PhD in Physics/ Chemistry
  • Or M.Sc./ M.Tech/ M.Pharm with NET/GATE qualified.

For Project Technical Support-III:

  • M.Sc./ M.Tech/ M.Pharm in Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology/ Biomedical Device/ Nanotechnology/ Nanoscience.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in developing skin patch device, or developing piezoelectric biomaterials or scaffold development using Electrospinning or electrochemical sensor device or Working experience in developing Rat/mouse model of Spinal Cord Injury (Hemisection model).

Age Limit: Must not be over 35 years as on 25 May 2026, which is relaxable for certain reserved categories as per rules of Government of India.

Fellowship:

  • For Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical): INR 56,000 + HRA @ 10% (INR 5600) = INR 61,600 per month.
  • For Project Technical Support-III: INR 28,000 + HRA @ 10% (INR 2800) = INR 30,800 per month.

Duration: Initially six months and may be extended based on performance of the candidate and availability of funds.

General Terms and Conditions:

  • The position is purely temporary and on a contractual basis. The position is co-terminus with the project.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
  • Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets and other testimonials must be presented along with the self-attested photocopies of these documents at the time of interview.
