Job Title: Team Leader – Synthesis
Location: Navi Mumbai, MH, IN
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and EXPERIENCE:
- PhD with post-doctorate experience in organic chemistry
- Shall possess sound theoretical and practical knowledge in organic synthesis preferably with scaling up of reaction on kg scale
- Should be fluent in a communication
- Proactive, result driven and entrepreneurial approach towards tasks
- Intercultural understanding and interpersonal skills for managing internal & external project communication with stakeholders across globe.
Responsibilities
- Leads and motivates a research team and is responsible for overall team performance.
- Support R&D projects with respect to analoging, route scouting, optimization, scale-up in kilo lab.
- Following-up on project progress and ensuring that projects are delivered on-time and in quality.
- Ensuring right process safety techniques are employed before scale-up
- decisions.Fostering innovation and coming-up with new ideas; keeping up to date with synthetic and process technology developments.
- Liaising with stake holders from research, safety, analytics, HR, finance, procurement, maintenance & management.
- Implementing & ensuring compliance with respect to labor, safety, and environmental protection regulations in his/her area of responsibility.
- Mentoring/guiding team of chemists to achieve project goals.
