Job Title: Junior Research Fellow – JRF (Project)/ Project Associate I

JRF (Project):
Essential Qualifications: Candidates having M. Sc. in Chemistry and those who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Fellowship: (i) Rs. 31,000/- pm + HRA
Age: (i) Maximum 28 years as on the last date of receipt of application through email. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Project Associate I:
Essential Qualifications: Candidates having M. Sc. in Chemistry
Fellowship: 25,000/- + HRA
Age: Maximum 35 years as on the last date of receipt of application through email. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Desirable qualification/experience: Candidate having one year research experience in organic
synthesis and/or catalysis is desirable.Duration: These positions are purely temporary. It would, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI.

Interested candidates are requested to send application form along with a current updated Curriculum Vitae and other necessary documents for scrutiny through e-mail to [email protected]. The last date of receipt of email is 05/04/2023. Applications received by email will be scrutinized based on a certain criteria and only shortlisted candidates, as are eligible as per the criteria, will be asked to attend interview using online mode, i.e. Skype or MS-Teams due to COVID-19 situation. The details of the interview will be sent to the shortlisted candidates by email. Incomplete application/without application format would be rejected during screening.
The prescribed format for application is available with the advertisement. The candidate is requested to send an application along with particulars such as (1) Full name and postal address with e-mail id and phone no., (2) Date of birth proof, (3) Caste Certificate (if applicable), (4) passport size photograph, (5) Skype id, (6) Educational qualifications, and (7) Experiences (if any) together with the photo copies of certificates/testimonials. The original documents of the selected candidate will be verified at the time of joining and any deviation will led to the disqualification of the candidature.
After scrutinizing all applications, the shortlisted candidates will be intimated by e-mail to attend an online interview.
