The company focuses on innovation, product quality, and consumer needs. Its Research & Development teams work across scientific disciplines to develop products and support analytical testing, product performance, and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with MFT project teams to frame clear technical problem statements, hypotheses, critical measures, acceptance criteria, and learning plans.
  • Select appropriate analytical approaches from the existing toolbox and recommend new or modified methods when an outage exists.
  • Connect measurement outputs to product performance, stability, quality, mechanism of action, claims, and business decisions.
  • Independently execute established chemical and physical methods and progressively develop or adapt methods for tablets, capsules, liquids, semi-solids, and other relevant dosage forms.
  • Apply appropriate techniques, such as HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, AAS, ICP, dissolution testing, physical characterisation, and other fit-for-purpose methods relevant to the personal healthcare portfolio.
  • Plan and execute method development, validation or qualification, robustness, equivalence, transfer, and troubleshooting activities with coaching where required.
  • Own instrument readiness, calibration, maintenance, repair coordination, and qualification activities within assigned scope; ensure safe sample handling, precise preparation, reliable measurement, complete traceability, and data integrity.
  • Recognise anomalous, out-of-trend, or unexpected results; investigate root causes and propose scientifically sound next steps; apply foundational statistics and effective visualisation to interpret results and distinguish signal from variability.
  • Summarise conclusions, risks, and recommendations in concise technical reports and project updates.
  • Execute and coordinate stability, quality monitoring, qualification, troubleshooting, and business-continuity testing.

  • Use approved digital systems for experiment documentation, data capture, analysis, visualisation, collaboration, and knowledge reuse.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify methods, automate repeatable steps, improve throughput, and strengthen touchless data flow without compromising quality.
  • Recommend and implement practical improvements to laboratory methods, test designs, supplies, and work processes.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in analytical method development, validation or qualification, transfer, stability testing, and laboratory troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, with the ability to connect analytical results to product or material behaviour.
  • Experience working under regulated laboratory practices and quality systems, with strong understanding of data integrity and good documentation.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings clearly in English. Bahasa Indonesia capability is strongly preferred for local stakeholder and partner engagement.
