Project Title: Development of accurate rainfall models by studying the influence of
meteorological parameters on raindrop dynamics

Description of the project
SOCH (Stimulated Opportunities for addressing Challenges of
Humanity) Project
This project aims to understand how phase change, coalescence, break-up, temperature, humidity gradients, and air currents affect the hydrodynamics of raindrops, intending to integrate with weather forecasting and precipitation modelling. This is the first time in the world that we have been developing a laboratory-scale experimental facility that can account for local atmospheric conditions at various altitudes.
