An excellent career opportunity is available for Advanced R&D II (Scientist)- Electrochemistry within India Technology Center located in Gurgaon, India. This position represents a unique and visible opportunity to direct a team of Research Associates and conducting key analyses of electrochemical performance from complete cell operation results obtained using pilot plant setup. Improvising the overall designing of cell and initiating innovative approaches to improve the performance of electrochemical cell test results.

Eligibility Criteria:
• Ph.D. in Chemical engineering/Chemistry/Electrochemistry/ Material Science or other related science disciplines is required.
Experience:
6 plus years of research and development experience in electrochemistry, catalyst synthesis, carbon neutrality/electrochemical analysis or specialty chemical/materials industry.
• 3 plus years experience in Electrochemistry R&D, catalyst synthesis lab work, along with project responsibilities.
Additional Candidate Requirements:
• Broad knowledge and experience in new product developments, catalyst synthesis and electrochemical performance analysis.
• Hands-on practical experience in Chronoamperometry/fuel cell assembly/ Linear sweep voltammetry.
• Strong understanding of Six Sigma methodologies and Techno-economic analysis, Reaction kinetics and process calculations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and

Position Responsibilities:
• Uses judgment, based on experience to decide on novel electrochemical cell designs, and MEA set up; define and implements procedure and or operational changes to accomplish the desired product selectivity.
• Lead research associates’ team and obtained key results by using expertise in electrochemical reduction approach, advanced catalyst synthesis understanding and characterizations knowledge.
• Work with global team to share results, seek feedback, plan on the next set of actions related to electrochemistry projects.
• Provide support for all HOS activities across the electrochemistry area.
• Develop sustainable routes for new product development, meeting the economic sense and electrochemical feasibility.
• Coordinate with a global team, develop innovative strategies for electrochemical routes to new product development, and analyze the performance obtained using pilot plant set up.
• Implement a consistent set of quality control procedures and standards, as well as a systematic Six Sigma-based approach for electrochemical measurement techniques that aligns with the product business unit strategic goals and objectives.
