Eligibility Criteria: M.Sc/M.Pharm in Organic Chemistry /Medicinal Chemistry or relevant field/PhD
Key Roles/Responsibilities:
- To carry out difficult organic techniques and transformations without supervision
- To independently propose and selects among literature procedures for single or multiple step transformations without supervision and should able to troubleshoot synthetic bottle neck
- Should maintain a laboratory notebook with clear descriptions of the reaction scheme, stoichiometry, results, and observations consistent with SOP.
- Demonstrates the ability to use known examples or the literature to propose multi-step transformations or complete synthetic routes to targets for discussion with supervisor
- Should able to transfer chemistry from few mgs to grams scale.
- Should be able to update/Prepare reports/Tracking sheet/Productivity sheet on regular basis as per requirement.
- Contributes effectively to patent, report, and scientific publication writing
- Demonstrates and excellent understanding and knowledge of, and provides recommendations on, laboratory tools and procedures as appropriate
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of relevant PDS policies and procedures
- Conducts activities in compliance with safety, waste disposal, and other regulatory guidelines
- Understands and follows established health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
- Should be able to train/manage RA for chemistry, EHS, QA, and as per requirement.
- Should able to demonstrate consistently highly productive in the preparation of straightforward analogs and has good productivity with more difficult analogs
- Should able to effectively perform multiple laboratory and literature tasks simultaneously.
- Should able to communicate to Client as and when required and should able to understand and implement practices and delivery as per Client requirement.
