Zentiva Chemistry Job Description

Purpose: In this Zentiva production job, the selected candidate will co-ordinate and organise API manufacturing activities in shifts, adhering to cGMP / HSE norms with optimum use of manpower, machines and facilities, in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare SOPs on manufacturing operations as per MFR, BMR and ECR, and equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) documents
  • Assess and initiate change controls for manufacturing modifications and new projects
  • Investigate deviations and implement corrective/preventive actions
  • Prepare and execute plant shutdown and start-up documents
  • Organise and allocate shift manpower to meet planned output; supervise activities per SOP/GMP/HSE and keep BMRs audit-ready
  • Train subordinates on SOP/GMP/HSE/process
  • Material management and SAP transactions
  • Execute hydrogenation processes and safely handle pyrophoric catalysts
  • Operate PLC/SCADA-based API manufacturing systems
  • Coordinate with Engineering, warehouse, Quality (IPC), HSE and plant management

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: M.Sc. (Organic / Industrial Chemistry) or B.Sc. (Tech) or B.E. Chemical

Experience: 1-5 years in an API plant
