NISER Chemistry Research Associate Vacancy 2022 – Applications Invited

Indian nationals are invited for an Interview (online through Zoom or Google Meet) on 31st
January 2022 at about 10:00 AM for one temporary position of Research Associate-I under the project “Three membered strained organic molecules as linchpin 3C synthons for the synthesis of carbocycles/N-heterocycles and their asymmetric synthesis” in the School of Chemical Sciences, NISER, Bhubaneswar funded by SERB, Govt. of India.

Job Title: Research Associate-I

Name of Project: “Three membered strained organic molecules as linchpin 3C synthons for the synthesis of carbocycles/N-heterocycles and their asymmetric synthesis”

Eligibility Criteria: PhD degree in Chemistry or equivalent from a recognized university.

Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 47,000/- pm plus HRA as per rules

Age: 35 years as on date of interview, age relaxation to entitled categories as per rules.

The above position is purely temporary for a period of one year or completion of project whichever is earlier and strictly co-terminus with the project. It would, therefore, not confer any right/ claim, implicit, or explicit for consideration/ absorption against any NISER post.

Interested candidates should appear for the interview through Zoom/ Google Meet video conferencing only. They need to send the

duly filled-in scanned copy of the application form given on pages 2-3 of this advertisement, along with scanned copies of all the Educational Certificates by email to [email protected] by 5.00 PM on 28th January 2022. The candidate must also submit the complete CV with publication list, referee details and summary of research projects undertaken so far. Depending on the number of applications, either all or shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview through Zoom/Google Meet video. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through email at least a day before the interview.
