Applications are invited for the temporary position of Research Associate sanctioned in the SERB sponsored project titled “Intrinsically Low Thermal Conductive Metal Chalcogenides for Thermoelectric “Waste Heat” to “Electrical Energf’ Conversion” under the Principal Investigator Prof. Kanishka Biswas, New Chemistry_Unit, JNCASR, Jakkur, Bengaluru, 560 064.

Remuneration Rs.47,000/- plus 24% HRA. Remuneration will be fixed based on experience
Eligibility: Ph.D. in Chemistry/Physics. Those who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and yet to receive a Ph.D. degree may also apply. The candidate should have at least two research papers in the Science citation index (SCI) Journal.
Experience:
i. Expertise in low temperature (2 — 200 K) magnetic and thermoelectric properties, i.e., Seebeck coefficient, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, and magneto-transport properties measurement and data analysis.
ii. Experience in handling the cryogenic physical property measurement system
Age: 35 years
