Job Title: Shift Leader, Production
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s / Master Degree in Pharmacy or BE with minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Production in Pharmaceutical (Preferably capsule manufacturing environment) & Food Ingredient industries
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt preferred
- Experience in machine process parameters compliance to a standard operating procedure, data analysis of the critical to process parameters. Manpower handling & optimization in adverse conditions
- Experience checking key parameters of machines and other equipment at regular intervals.
- Experience in conducting in-process quality checks.
- Experience in handling GMP & GDP is a must.
- Knowledge in Shift Management
- Able to work in rotational shift working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure production process running with desired Yield(%), A&T, Quality & Safety parameters
- Responsible for Manpower planning & deployment on the respective machines with multiskilling criteria
- Responsible for quality & safety during the running of hard capsule machines
- Responsible for adherence of SOPs on the shop floor
- Responsible for training, multiskilling & skill enhancement of shop floor colleagues
- Drive Plant KPIs like Safety, Quality, Production/Plant Yield(%), waste control, Machine performance(A&T) by measuring MTBF & MTTRs
- Ensure Production planning includes batch records, order planning, Dish washes, Color/Size change
- Ensure seamless coordination with the cross-functional team during rotation shift handling
- Lead by example during working in shifts
