Govt-MoEF Chemical Science Job Opening – Application Details

Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) invites applications for filling up the posts of Research Associates (2 posts) on payment of a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 40,000/- respectively purely on contract basis in the IA Division of the Ministry. Position 1

Job Title: Research Associate –

Eligibility: One B.E / B.Tech or equivalent Degree in Chemical Engineering or ·Environmental Engineering Master Degree in Chemical or Environmental Science with a minimum 2-3 years of experience in the environmental management or pollution control in the chemical industry or Pharma sector is desirable.

Salary: Rs. 40,000/- Per Month

Sector to be deployed: Industry – II

Position 2

Job Title: Research Associate – One

Eligibility: MSc in Chemical with a minimum 2-3 years of experience in the environmental management or pollution control in infrastructure projects or building and construction projects or Nuclear projects is desirable.

Salary: Rs. 40,000/- Per Month

Terms of engagement: –

a. The engagement to the above posts on contract basis in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change will be initially for a period of one year expandable up

to three (3) years (one year at a time) subject to an assessment of the performance of the professional and extension will be considered on a case to case basis with the approval of the Competent Authority.

b. The contractual appointment would be on a full-time basis and the appointed person will not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of engagement with the Ministry. As the post is temporary in nature and purely contractual, in no case any request for promotion or absorption as the permanent employee shall be entertained.

c. The appointment will be purely on a temporary nature and can be cancelled at any time by the Ministry without assigning any reason whatsoever.

d. The detailed terms and conditions of engagement will be issued on the selection to the post.
