IIT Kanpur Project Scientist Vacancy – Salary up to Rs 81,000/- pm
Applications are invited for temporary & contractual post of Sr. Project Scientist under the project entitled “Centre of Excellence for Large Area of Flexible Electronics at IIT Kanpur” at Samtel Centre for Display Technologies (SCDT), IIT Kanpur.
Job Title: Sr. Project Scientist
Minimum Qualification: PhD + 2 Yrs. of relevant experience
Desirable Qualification: PhD in Chemistry or allied fields with a thesis involving fabrication and characterization of organic photovoltaic devices.
Essential Experience: Experience in a research & development project(s) related to organic electric device fabrication. He/she should be capable of making measurements and analyse absorption spectrum measurements on thin films; and current-voltage characteristics and spectral response measurements on solar cells. He/ she should have a sound knowledge and experience of reliability studies of organic photovoltaic cells.
Desirable Experience: Experience after PhD of working in the field of organic solar cell fabrication, characterisation and reliability studies. He/she should be experienced in the use and handling of glove boxes, vacuum equipment, device processing and organic photovoltaic cell stability testing equipment will be strongly preferred.
Salary range: Rs. 32400-2700- 81000/- (per month based on qualification)
Term of Appointment: One year or
till the end of the project, whichever is earlier.Number of positions: One
