Job Title: Product Manager and Asia Marketing Specialist – MAW Chemistry

Location: Mumbai

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

• You hold a graduate degree (Master’s degree, PhD or equivalent), preferably in Science (e.g. Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, Food or Economics chemistry)
• Preferably, you have extensive professional experience (at least 3-5 years professional working experience) with specific knowledge of product & applications management and development of holistic product offers
• You possess an entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical skills, and big-picture thinking
• Your ability to work in regional as well as in global virtual teams will be supported by
• your strong communication skills, in English; and other Asian languages
• You are highly motivated, patient, engaged, self-organized and enjoy working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Strategy and R&D teams
• You are comfortable to work independently and take initiative
• You are comfortable to work across a matrix organisation and enjoy learning new skills
• You are flexible and willing to travel regionally and internationally (about 20% of time

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Define and manage the product life cycles of our Spectrophotometer Chemistry (Test Kits and Reagents) portfolio within Mobile and Analytical Workflows franchise with a special focus on the Asia region
• Focus on the Asian markets (APAC and SEA) with defined targets to grow your portfolio by collaborating with relevant commercial sales and marketing teams
• Execute training activities for the marketing & commercial teams as well as visits to Asian customers with expertise in products and applications content.
• Drive ongoing and development of new product applications & collaboration projects together with global R&D, local application laboratories, partners and customers
• Identify new business opportunities to address customer needs; Initiate and perform market research projects (inhouse and external) and set strategy to gain market share for the MAW chemistry product line
• Be involved in interdepartmental interactions, liaise with internal stakeholders; drive external collaborations with global stakeholders
  Keep track of competitor activities and market insights for your portfolio, region and segments
