Applications are invited for the following temporary post under the project titled “Development of weakly coordinating group aided catalytic C-H bond activation strategy for organic synthesis”, in the Dept. of Chemistry, IIT Madras.
Job Title: Research Associate
Qualification: PhD or equivalent degree (Organic Chemistry) Candidates who have submitted PhD thesis can also apply.
Desirable:
Hands-on-experience in organic synthesis and catalysis, isolation of transition-metal-complexes and DFT calculation are highly desirable.
Salary: Rs.36,000/- pm + HRA 30%
Co-ordinator: Prof. Md Mahiuddin Baidya, Dept. of Chemistry.
Duration: Initially for a period of one year, extendable based on performance up to a maximum of three years
