Job Title: Quality Control Chemist

Eligibility: BSc chemistry / Msc chemistry
Experience: Up to 3 years of experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform GC & Routine quality Check for raw materials & finished products.
- GC-MS analyses to identify unknown impurities or measure low-level residues
- Participates in the maintenance and calibration of equipment
- Records data accurately into a sample management system (LIMS)
- Communicates analytical results in a timely fashion to the Quality Manager to ensure rapid actions if any issue needs to be addressed
- Organizes and tabulates data as needed. Present results in a concise manner to internal customers and business partners
- Helps maintain cleanliness and order in the QC lab
- Participates in the sensory evaluation of products. Provides support in both preparation and evaluation of raw materials and finished products.
- Maintenance and calibration of QC equipment( ( Density Meter & Refractometer & OPT ); Subcontractor management for externalized analytical controls and equipment maintenance
Key Requirements:
Functional / Technical
- Knowledge of GMP , HACCP & Lab Safety
- Ability to work independently as well as with team
- Knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system is an added advantage
- Good command over written and spoken English
- Computer basic knowledge –Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Up to 3 years working experience in related field or chemical industry.
