Job Title  Team Leader- Synthesis

Job Description:

  1. Planning R&D activities including development of new products, process technology or applications, preparation of reports, data verification and interpretation, transfer of technology, via process validation based on stability data. The candidate will be responsible for developing products at lab followed by scale up trials.
  2. Experience in product development of cosmetic active products like sun filters, antiaging, conditioning agents, preservatives and handling regulatory queries. Strong experience in Development of Generic product and process development for various regions.
  3. Preparation and review of study protocols and reports. Follow-up with relevant department for material and analytical results.
  4. Safety studies and technology transfer to production unit
  5. To develop process keeping IP non infringement activities in focus
  6. Filing patents for new technologies and products developed
  7. To work with cross functional departments to achieve business goals including marketing, regulatory affair, operations, ESHA, production and quality.
  8. Involve with expert teams to support various business objectives.
  9. To support Business development team by providing technical support for new opportunities identified.
  10. Sound knowledge of analytical data interpretation and troubleshooting.
  11. Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Education: Ph.D. (chemistry preferably)
  • Business experience: 7-8 years, Preferably from Pharma process development background
