Job Description
Applications are invited for a temporary position of Research Associate to work under the guidance of Dr. Pratap Vishnoi, Assistant Professor at New Chemistry Unit (NCU), International Centre for Materials Science (ICMS), & School of Advanced Materials (SAMat), JNCASR Bangalore, Jakkur PO – 560 064.
Eligibility Criteria for Research Associate at JNCASR
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in chemistry, materials chemistry, or physics with at least one research paper published in Science Citation Index (SCI) Journal.
Candidates who have submitted their thesis but have not yet defended can apply for the “Provisional” role.
Required Skills
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of materials synthesis, X-ray crystallography, perovskite synthesis, perovskite structures, magnetic data measurements, and analysis.
Salary for Research Associate at JNCASR
- Research Associate (Provisional): Remuneration Rs. 46,800 p.m. plus applicable HRA
- Research Associate: Remuneration Rs. 58,000, 61,000, or 67,000 p.m. plus applicable HRA
Remuneration for the JNCASR Research Associate 2026 post is fixed based on experience.
