Job Description: Research Associate II – Bioleaching & Biomining. The role focuses on developing and scaling sustainable bioleaching technologies using Gluconobacter oxydans for metal recovery from waste and low-grade resources. The candidate will work across microbial engineering, bioprocess development, and pilot-scale reactor operation to enable industrial translation of biomining solutions. Essential Qualification/Experience as per the norms:
- PhD in Chemical Engineering.
- MSc or MTech with 4 years experience in Microbiology R&D lab/industry.
- The percentage/grade points with respect to the academic qualifications will be a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onward and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th.
Desirable Qualification/Experience:
- Strong understanding of: Microbial processes and fermentation, Bioreactor systems and scale-up principles.
