Advertisement for the post of Research Assistant (RA) for the UPCST-sponsored Project
The NIPER Raebareli recruitment 2026 invites applications for a Research Assistant Job under a UPCST-sponsored project focused on “Synthesis and Evaluation of Nitrogen Tethered Derivatives in Cell-Based and Animal Models of Acute Lung Injury.”
Position Details
- No. of position: 1
- Essential qualifications: The candidates should possess (M. Pharm/M.S.(Pharm.)/M.Sc.) in Medicinal Chemistry /Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Sciences/Chemistry/Biochemistry/ Life sciences or a PG degree in any other relevant branch of Chemical Sciences. High academic achievement with a 1st class graduate and post-graduate examination with fulfillment of basic qualification.
- Desirable skills: Preference may be given to candidates with exposure to organic synthesis, characterization, and purification, in vitro, and in vivo expertise.
- Age limit: Max. 28 years as of 1st May 2026 (age relaxation for SC/ST/PH is as per GoI rules).
- Tenure of Appointment:18 months. The performance of the recruited RA will be evaluated at the end of one year from the start of the project, and will be extended for the remaining period based on satisfactory performance.
- Stipend Details: The position is purely temporary with a consolidated stipend of INR 25000/- per month for the first 6 months and INR 28000/- per month for the last 12 months (without any benefit of HRA, CCA, PF, LTC, medical claim, etc.) and will be governed by the funding agency CST U.P. guidelines & service conditions of NIPER-Raebareli.
