TUV SUD Lab Technician Job Description
The TUV SUD Lab Technician role involves supporting laboratory testing activities in accordance with TÜV SÜD quality standards. This role involves ensuring compliance with quality management system requirements, performing tests as per established standards, and maintaining technical records. The technician will also play a key role in training new staff and implementing corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and follow the quality management system documents relevant to the jobs & responsibilities.
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data/information generated.
- Perform testing as per the correct test standard.
- Train new technicians/analysts.
- Execute corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain technical records.
- Validate methods and calibrate instruments.
- Ensure initial observations, necessary data, and calculations are recorded at the time they are made.
- Inform the lab supervisor of any equipment breakdowns or irrelevant test results.
- Timely disposal of samples.
- Prepare standard solutions and maintain records for the same.
- Check validity and purity of CRM (as per applicability).
- Calibrate and verify equipment.
- Follow the technology process (barcode etc.) and use the data.
- Implement continual improvement projects.
- Develop new tests as per business and customer requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- B. Tech/Diploma in Textile or B.Sc. in Chemistry, with 3-5 years of experience in a relevant department.
