Job Description
The Technician in R&D will support the Application team by performing routine manual paint application testing, preparing test panels and substrates, maintaining equipment, and accurately documenting test results. This role is
perfect for those seeking chemistry technician jobs and will work under supervision while developing technical skills in application methods and laboratory practices.Key Responsibilities:
- Apply and evaluate the application boards manually and generate reports.
- Follow Standard Application Procedures, using the application tools to record and report results.
- Clean and maintain test equipment.
- Prepare application substrates for all application requests.
- Maintain effective communications with the supervisor in identifying problems affecting application operations.
- Provide project support and assistance to various departments as needed.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational attainment equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in science (Chemistry), Paint Technology, or a related field is required. Candidates should possess knowledge of the principles of math and chemistry and have the ability to set up and operate application testing equipment.
