Job Description
The Technician will be responsible for supporting laboratory testing activities, ensuring compliance with TÜV SÜD quality standards, and maintaining the integrity of data and information generated. This role involves performing tests according to established standards, training new technicians, and executing corrective and preventive actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and follow the quality management system documents relevant to the jobs & responsibilities.
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data/information generated.
- Perform testing as per the correct test standard.
- Train new technicians/analysts.
- Execute corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain technical records.
- Validate methods and calibrate instruments.
- Record initial observations, necessary data, and calculations at the time they are made.
- Inform the lab supervisor of any equipment breakdowns or irrelevant test results.
- Timely disposal of samples.
- Prepare standard solutions and maintain records for the same.
- Calibrate and verify equipment.
- Follow the technology process (barcode etc.) and use the data.
- Implement continual improvement projects.
- Develop new tests as per business and customer requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- B. Tech/Diploma in Textile or BSC Chemistry, textile-related.
- Experience in relevant department for 3-5 years.
Core Activity within TUV SUD Group
- Support laboratory testing activities in accordance with TÜV SÜD quality standards.
- Assist in routine testing operations under supervision.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
Area of Deployment:
- Testing in Physical Laboratory.
