Quality Control Job Description:
The Executive in this Quality Control Job is responsible for the timely completion of testing, analysis, and documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines. This position reports to the Assistant Manager of QC and plays a critical role in ensuring product compliance and quality assurance within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for completing testing as part of Chemical, Functional, and incoming inspection.
- Provide support to Global Quality projects and complete gap assessments.
- Analyze and inspect raw materials, accessory items, and finished products.
- Conduct in-process testing and water testing.
- Ensure accurate data recording in accordance with guidelines.
- Report, trend, and present results effectively.
- Calibrate glassware and instruments.
- Support WCM, Lean, Six Sigma projects, and root cause analysis.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Master’s degree in pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Analysis/Pharmaceutics/Pharmaceutical Chemistry) or Master’s degree in chemistry.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a testing laboratory of the pharmaceutical industry.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of instrumental analysis (Ion chromatography/HPLC/UV/GC/FTIR, etc.).
- Knowledge of microbiological testing (Environmental monitoring, Sterility test, Microbial identification, etc.).
- Experience performing tests as per Pharmacopoeial requirements (USP/IP/EP).
- Understanding of data integrity and various types of chemical analysis.
- Able to manage multiple issues, tasks, and priorities concurrently.
- Knowledge about analytical/microbiological test and equipment qualification.
- Preferably knowledgeable about USFDA/EuGMP requirements.
