Job Description

The Young Professionals will assist officers in the analysis of bio-stimulants and nano fertilizers, including handling and maintenance of sophisticated instruments such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS/MS), and others. They will be responsible for the day-to-day functioning and performance monitoring of these instruments, ensuring compliance with the Fertilizer Control Order, 1985.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the analysis of bio-stimulants and nano fertilizers.
  • Monitor the performance of sophisticated laboratory instruments.
  • Standardize methods of analysis as per regulatory requirements.
  • Support the officers in maintaining laboratory operations.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to analyses performed.
  • Engage in training and skill development activities as required.
  • Participate in research and development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the laboratory.

Eligibility 

  • Master’s degree in Chemistry (Inorganic, Organic, or Analytical Chemistry) or M.Sc. (Agriculture) with specialization in Soil Science or Agricultural Chemistry.
  • Minimum of 02 years of relevant experience in bio-stimulants/nano fertilizers analysis.
  • Proficiency in handling computers (MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Preference for candidates with M. Phil/Ph.D. degrees and relevant work experience.
  • Age limit: Candidates should not exceed 35 years on the last date of application submission.

Remuneration

The fixed monthly remuneration for the Young Professionals will be Rs. 60,000/- (Sixty thousand only). This amount shall remain unchanged throughout the contract period, with no annual increment or additional benefits such as PF, Pension, or Medical Allowance.
