Position I
- Post Name: Project Research Scientist-II (Non-medical)
- Vacancy: 01 (one) – UR (unreserved)
- Emoluments: Rs. 67,000/- pm + HRA 30% @ Rs 20,100 pm = Rs. 87,100 pm (Year-I and II). Increment @ 5% on initial emoluments after completing every two years.
Position II
- Name of Post: Project Research Scientist-III (Non-medical)
- Vacancy: 01 (one) – UR (unreserved)
- Emoluments: Rs. 78,000/- pm + HRA 30% @ Rs. 23,400 pm = Rs. 1,01,400 pm (Year-I and II). Increment @ 5% on initial emoluments after completing every two years.
Project Details:
- Project Title: Preclinical Development of Patented Molecule Targeting Angiogenesis and Metabolic Plasticity in Resistant Triple-Negative Breast Cancer.
- Principal Investigator: Prof. Nagula Shankaraiah, Dept. of Chemical Sciences
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: 35 years on the date of 30 September 2026
- Minimum Qualification for Project Research Scientist-II: Post Graduate Degree (MSc or MS Pharm/M Pharm in Organic Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry) with three years post qualification experience or PhD in Medicinal Chemistry or Organic Chemistry.
- Minimum Qualification for Project Research Scientist-III: Post Graduate Degree in Pharmacology and Regulatory Toxicology with five years post qualification experience or PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology + two years post qualification experience.
Desirable Qualifications
- Project Research Scientist-II: Experience in synthetic organic chemistry, multi-step synthesis, rational drug design, and modern characterisation techniques.
- Project Research Scientist-III: Experience in cancer drug discovery, NCE screening, in vitro cell culture studies, and molecular biology.
