IISER Tirupati Research Associate Job Description:
The IISER Tirupati Research Associate-1 will be involved in high-quality research projects under the guidance of experienced faculty members. The role requires a strong background in chemistry, with a focus on synthetic organic chemistry and related fields. Candidates will contribute to the development of materials essential for healthcare applications.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Ph.D. degree in chemistry.
- Candidates who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the award of a Ph.D. degree may also apply.
- Evidence of having conducted high-quality research during or after their Ph.D. program is required.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Synthetic Organic/Supramolecular Chemistry, Origins of Homochirality vs. Heterochirality, Biomaterials, Hydrogel, and Organogel.
Fellowship:
- Rs. 58,000 /- per month + 10% HRA if the candidate produces the Ph.D. Certificate.
- Rs. 42,000 /- per month + 10% HRA for candidates whose Ph.D. degree is awaited, provided they submit a letter from a competent authority stating that the thesis has been submitted and the final viva/defense is pending.

- One – 1 (The number of posts is subject to change based on the number of applicants and their suitability for the role.)
Tenure:
- The initial offer will be for seven months and renewable subject to satisfactory performance. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Age:
- Preferably not more than 40 years as on the closing date of the advertisement.
