Job Description
The selected candidate for the Research Scientist Job will be responsible for conducting bioanalytical studies, method development, and validation of analytical procedures in compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in chemistry or related fields
and have at least four years of relevant experience in bioanalysis, particularly using LC-MS/MS techniques. This role is essential for supporting THSTI’s research initiatives and ensuring high-quality outputs in translational health research.Responsibilities
- Conduct bioanalytical method development and validation.
- Perform routine bioanalysis of clinical and preclinical samples.
- Maintain laboratory records and ensure compliance with quality systems.
- Provide technical guidance to junior analysts and laboratory staff.
- Support instrument qualification and maintenance.
- Prepare and implement SOPs and laboratory practices.
- Participate in internal audits and inspection readiness activities.
- Contribute to the establishment of the bioanalytical laboratory operations.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential qualifications include a Master’s degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, or any branch of chemical or life sciences from a recognized university, along with four years of post-qualification experience in relevant areas.
Required Skills
- Experience in LC-MS/MS based bioanalysis.
- Familiarity with bioanalytical regulatory guidance.
- Strong documentation and laboratory safety practices.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot analytical instruments.
- Knowledge of ICH M10 bioanalytical method validation guidance.
- Experience in method development and validation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Capability to maintain accurate laboratory records.
