Job Overview:

This JRF Vacancy focuses on research involving healthy almond-based food products. The selected fellow will contribute to product development, characterization, packaging studies, and shelf-life assessment while supporting ongoing project activities.   • Project Title: Development and characterization of healthy almond-based products utilizing almond flour & their shelf-life assessment
  • Designation: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
  • Number of Positions: One (1)
  • Duration: 8 months, or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier
  • Principal Investigators: Dr. Prarabdh C. Badgujar (Associate Professor, NIFTEM-K) & Dr. Tanya L. Swer (Assistant Professor, NIFTEM-K)
  • Emoluments per Month: For JRF: 37000/- + 10 % HRA
  • Age Limit: Maximum 35 years

Qualifications:

  • Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree with 60% marks in Food Technology, Food Process Technology, Food Science and Technology, Food Science, Food Technology and Management, Food Process Engineering Management, Food Safety & Quality Management, Food Safety and Quality Assurance, Food Engineering, Dairy Technology, Dairy Chemistry
  • Desirable Qualifications: Strong expertise and previous work experience in product development & characterization, packaging, and shelf life/stability evaluation. Candidates who have qualified NET (UGC/CSIR/ICAR) and/or GATE
