Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Research Associate under the ANRF-funded research project ‘Tuning the Properties and Functions of Redox-Active Porous Organic Polymers for Energy Storage and Conversion’ (Project No. ANRF/ARG/2025/011583/CS).
Project Description:
The project focuses on the development of conjugated porous organic polymers (CPOPs) and their nanocomposite-based electrode materials for sodium-ion batteries and CPOP thin film fabrication
through electropolymerization or surface-initiated electrochemical grafting for photoelectrocatalysis.No. of Positions: One
Duration: 2 years (initially for 1 year, which is extendable to another 1 year or more based on performance and mutual interest).
Eligibility:
- Ph.D. degree working in the relevant domain of the project or Ph.D. thesis submitted, working in the field of proposed research, having quality research publications
- Candidate must have three years or more of experience in the field of the project in reputed academic institutions or industry or science and technology organisations
- Candidates should have relevant research experience and published first-author papers in reputed forums in the proposed domain of research, particularly in the synthesis of redox-active organic molecules and polymers. Experience in electrochemical analyses is required.
- M.Sc. or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA ≥ 7.0
- Candidates should be below 40 years of age at the time of application.
Desirables: Candidates with an organic/physical chemistry background with experience in handling inert atmospheres, multi-step reactions, and well-versed in electrochemical analyses and battery fabrication will be preferred.
Salary: 67,000 (basic) + HRA (20%)
