- Job Role: APAC Regional Site Lab Support Senior Scientist

Key Responsibilities
- Provides technical training on rapid methods for raw material and in-process controls to site lab coordinators/Associates.
- Provides training packages and guidance about how Site Lab Associates can train and validate other Site Lab Associates on testing methods.
- Provides support on new equipment selection and configuration.
- Provides coaching and support on troubleshooting related to technical issues with the test and instrumentation.
- Verify the execution of the verification programs (ring-test).
- Help the site develop a strong action plan based on the 5M approach for all non-conforming results (Ring-Test, rejections unconfirmed).
- Identify priorities based on problem-solving performed at the site level and build a continuous improvement action plan using rapid methods.
- Coordination between other MGS Regional Labs and COE to ensure alignment, best practice sharing, and evolution of WoW.
- Support the site labs with the deployment of the Mars Laboratory Quality Standard.
- As part of the governance process, support for reporting site labs’ KPIs.
- Conduct technical audits of labs not under their domain for training and PT.
- Proactively engage a culture of safe laboratory behaviors, role model best practices, and provide open feedback to other Mars Inc. associates when working with regional or site labs.
Education & Professional Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in chemistry or related scientific discipline, Languages.
- English mandatory, local languages is a plus.
Knowledge/Experience
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in a chemistry lab.
- ISO 9001, ISO 17025, or Mars Laboratory Quality Standard experience.
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken English.
- Customer focus and understanding of quality and food safety aspects.
- Desired: Experience in ethnographic interviewing, design thinking, and prototyping of new client-centric solutions.
- Performance evaluation and continuous improvement.
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluent in writing and speaking English.
