About the Job
Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall operational issues of mass spectrometry instrument
- Perform routine preventive maintenance of mass spectrometry instruments
- Monitor and document instrument performance, calibration, etc., from time to time
- Candidates having experience in LC-MS/MS method development will be preferred for the position and will additionally contribute to the development, optimization, and troubleshooting of analytical methods.
Qualifications
- PhD in Analytical Chemistry / Instrumentation / Clinical Biochemistry / Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience handling LC-MS/MS instruments in an industry or academic organization
- Good knowledge of both hardware and software of LC-MS instrumentation
- Proven track record in analytical method development, optimization, and troubleshooting LC-MS/MS platforms
- Knowledge of analytical laboratory safety practices and documentation
- Good communication and presentation skills
