Position Details:
- Job Title: Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF)

- Project Title: Development of rapid and cost-effective Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) based sensor for microplastic detection in water
- Number of Positions: One
- Duration: 24 months or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier
- Emoluments per Month: ₹70,900/- consolidated
Essential Qualifications:
- PhD in Chemistry/Physics/Nanoscience/Food Science/Environmental Chemistry/Allied Sciences.
- NET/GATE qualified candidates with a prior publication record in relevant areas may be given preference.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (relaxation of 5 years for women/ SC/ ST/ OBC/ differently abled as per the Govt. of India Rules).
Desirable:
- The candidate should preferably have hands-on experience in Raman spectroscopy, AI-ML inference for Spectral interpretation and optimization.
- Strong experience in Nanoparticle Synthesis and Characterization.
- Experience in Optical Sensor Development for detection of pollutants/contaminants will be considered advantage.
- Additional Desirable Qualities: Strong publication record in high-impact journals (Minimum 2 Scopus indexed), Ability to work independently on interdisciplinary projects, Experience handling sophisticated analytical instruments, Good scientific writing and presentation skills.
