Key Accountabilities:
1. API Process Development in Lab:

Conduct literature surveys and select synthetic routes.

Prepare and execute a development strategy.

Maintain lab records and logs for R&D.
-
Optimize parameters for lab and confirmatory batches.

Support IP generation through new process experiments.

Maintain/calibrate instruments and follow GLP.

Embrace green chemistry principles.
2. Technology Transfer Documentation:

Prepare documents such as MPG, solubility charts, and development reports.

Coordinate with manufacturing for pilot and validation batches for R&D.
3. QbD and Impurity Profiling:

Conduct QbD studies with internal teams.

Perform impurity and carryover studies for R&D.
4. Vendor Qualification Support:

Qualify new vendors through comparative testing.

Analyze trends and shortlist suppliers.
5. Stage Gate & Milestone Compliance:

Complete checklist activities as per project timelines.
6. Major Challenges:

Delays from ADL results, raw material issues, and shifting development needs for R&D.
